Download and install Update Service on your PC. When an improved software version for your product is available, you can download it whenever you want, and always keep your phone software up to date. You will be guided smoothly through the update process.
Requirements
* Internet connection (preferably broadband)
* USB cable (DSS-25 for P900/P910)
* For updating PC cards you need a PC card slot.
Recommended system requirements:
* Intel® Pentium® 4, 2.0 GHz or higher, AMD Athlon
* 300 MB free hard disk space.
* 512 MB RAM
* 1 USB (2.0) port
* Internet Explorer™ 4.0 Service Pack 1, or later.
* Adobe® Flash Player 8, or later. Available at Adobe
Operating System
* Windows XP™ (Home or Professional) with SP2 or later.
* Microsoft® Windows Vista™ (32/64 bit).

Installation instructions
1. Download the installation package to a temporary folder on your PC.
2. Run the downloaded file, and follow the instructions that appear.
How to use
1. Double-click on the Update Service icon on the desktop.
2. When Update Service is launched, the application accesses the Internet to download content that is needed to be able to run the service. This may take several minutes, depending on the Internet connection speed.
3. Choose your preferred language and follow the instructions that appear.
For P900/P910.
If the PC Suite is installed, follow these instructions:
1. Double-click on Phone Connection Link in the system tray.
2. Un-tick the USB port.

Once the modem scripts are installed your phone can be used for standard Windows Dial-Up Networking, either by using Sony Ericsson Mobile Networking Wizard or by using the tools in Windows to set up a network connection.

1. Download the self-extracting installer file to your computer. Remember where you place it.
2. Double-click the W800_Signed_USB_Drivers.exe -file. Click 'OK' to extract the drivers and launch the installer.
3. Click 'Install' to install the drivers. When done the temporary files will be deleted.
4. To complete the installation, connect your W800 to your computer with the USB-cable. Windows will show information either in pop-up messages or in information balloons in the lower right corner of the screen.
5. You are now ready to use your W800.
